Meet Nipuna

Speaker, Activist, Coach, and Consultant

Nipuna Ambanpola is an entrepreneur and leader and consults at the intersection of data, policy, and social impact. Nipuna is highly skilled in tech-for-good consulting, outreach, strategic planning, D&I, research, and data science. Having led small and large teams across the world and bringing partners together to achieve a common goal, Nipuna identifies himself as a unifier. As a young professional, Nipuna is connected to movements that uplift and mobilize young people to engage in the decision-making process.

As a speaker and activist, Nipuna leads numerous globally distributed teams to consult with nonprofits, governments, and agencies to leverage technology to empower young people become active citizens in their community and to bring young activists to the forefront of the decision-making process. Nipuna relates the roots of his personal mission to Sri Lanka, where he was born. Nipuna has a Masters of Public Administration and Policy and a Masters in Business Analytics from the University of Georgia. Nipuna works full-time at the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development as the Research and Public Service Manager.
